VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on commonly abused substances, including the eu newspapers ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. A short report is available via a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
